• GENERAL INFORMATION:

Small round to oval shaped fruit with a scaly reddish to reddish-brown skin.

Flesh is off-white with a texture and sweet flavour often likened to that of a grape.

The inside containsa stone whose size varies with the variety but as a general rule,

the smaller the seed themore exclusive the variety.

• NUTRITION FACTS: An excellent source of vitamin C, they are also fat

and salt free.

• PREPARATION & USAGE TIPS: Peel off skin, remove flesh from around

the seed. May be frozen with skin intact. Best eaten when fresh. The large

brown seed is not edible.

• STORAGE AND HANDLING TIPS: Surface of fruit browns quickly. Will

keep for 2 weeks in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.
